Today that winning spirit and determination to succeed extends to all our clients. As an independent financial planner with over 25 years of experience I am well equipped to provide you with personal financial advice and well thought through solutions.
As a father of 3, I have pretty much the same worries and dreams as many of our clients do, for a start we all wish our children will do a work in life that they really love, for them to maintain financial stability, but also for ourselves so we can enjoy life with our spouses and children, to come to a point perhaps where we work because we want to and not because we need to. All our planning with our clients becomes personal”.

Striving for excellence has always been part of who I am. Whether it was racing professionally as a cyclist in South Africa and Europe, practicing whushu martial arts with a shaolin monk for 14 years or being the best father and husband possible, excellence in whatever I do has always been the way I apply myself to everything I do, it is part of my DNA.
The same applies to my business and my clients. Taking care of my client’s needs and making sure they receive the best service, best product and best value for money is and always will be my focus. I see my clients as part of my family and treat them as such.

Mariette Janse van Vuuren

I am an adventurer by heart and lived all over South Africa, and am now based and settled in Cape Town, with two boys who are my life. I am a passionate people’s person, which helps me a lot in my work industry assisting clients and give support to our financial advisor.
I started my career in the Insurance industry after a
2 years administrative and chef course in Cape Town. Working for a corporate company as a branch manager in the insurance industry, it taught me how important peoples financial needs are for their future. I left the industry for a while raising my children, pursuing my artistic nature with the food industry. This also taught me a lot about people, and I enjoy working with them.
After moving back to Cape Town I went back to my roots and joined the Wentzel Consulting family 4 years ago, and still enjoy it every day.

Being quite newlywed with a 2-year-old has taught me what financial planning actually entails and why it is so important to have all the right policies in place. My journey started in 2018 when I first entered the industry; never knowing I’d still be here nearly 6 years later.
I have been so blessed living in my hometown, Velddrif, with the love and support of my husband, parents, and siblings. Velddrif and the surrounding areas have embedded a variety of skills in my day-to-day life and has helped me become humble and to never look down on anyone.
I have found a passion for helping clients with their financial needs, finding solutions, and maintaining a good relationship with them. If this industry has taught me one thing, it is that everyone you meet is different, almost like a puzzle. You only need that one company or person to help you put everything together.
We are not related but share the same values which in the end make up our family.
Linda van Staden

I joined Wentzel Consulting in October 2022. I had never worked in the industry before. Every day holds new challenges with learning experiences. Maintaining a good relationship with all our clients is very important to me. I do believe that my intuition skills are precise. I am very organized, extremely dedicated, always willing to go the extra mile. Excellent communication skills which is vital in this industry, as well as, loyalty, honesty, and trustworthiness.
I reside in Velddrif on the West Coast. Velddrif is referred to as a quaint fishing village, which is expanding, however the quaintness remains. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2020, now in remission and a cancer survivor. The support during this journey from family, friends and Velddrif community was overwhelming. In my opinion it speaks volumes for our community.
I thoroughly enjoy being part of the Wentzel Consulting Team. We strive for excellence.
Sharon De Gois

I am a dedicated wife, mother of two, and a proud grandmother, having spent my entire life in the beautiful Western Cape. My journey in the insurance industry began in 1983, and although I left the field a few times, my passion always led me back. With approximately 40 years of experience, I have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the industry.
For the past 25 years, I have been a loyal member of Best Planning Brokers. Our esteemed founder, Mr. FP Bestbier, who was the sole owner, sadly passed away in 2022. Since then, Konrad Wentzel has taken on the role of our Key Individual. In 2019, we relocated our offices to Wentzel Consulting, where I am now an integral part of this wonderful team.
Outside of work, I have a deep love for the outdoors and am always eager for new adventures. My strong, positive relationships with our clients are a testament to my commitment to excellent service and personal connection.
